Job Summary



Responsible for ensuring a welcoming experience for patients and families through experience inventory management, product revisions, requisitioning, receiving, stocking of supplies used throughout system. Works with leader and clinical staff throughout the system to identify and implement inventory improvement opportunities.



Job Specific Duties

  • Leads the planning, coordination, and facilitation of Spread Joy toy drive. Responsible for toy inventory management success and workflow. Supports the staff and volunteer task delegation, training, and day of supervision.
  • Drives the proper year-round use of toy inventory management application to track, trend, and ensure donated inventory accuracy. Provide feedback on app improvements and workflow.
  • Leads the year-round toy fulfillment requests in collaboration with Experience Coordinator team. Assists leadership with implementation of experience branded strategy, ensuring systemwide standards and appropriate use of toys.
  • Collaborates with clinical teams to best understand experience inventory support needs. Assists management with experience product evaluation, checking for outdates, & makes adjustments as needed.
  • Responsible for experience inventory orders ensuring inventory of ordered materials while maintaining budget. Processes orders in items and tracks status of deliveries through.
  • Collaborates with vendors to ensure quality product, timely replenishment, and backstock availability of experience products that are essential to the brand such as Golden Towers, Birthday celebration inventory, and Welcome Baskets.
  • Identifies ways to enhance inventory management systems, reduce supply expense, and ensure product availability throughout the system. Responsible for the continuous improvement to the toy inventory app, toy request SharePoint site, and SOBE webpage functionality.
  • Supports a consistent experience by performing “par level” inventory replenishment on campus and collaborates across departments to ensure timely replenishment systemwide.


Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in patient & family centered services or customer service department in a healthcare setting
  • Previous experience in materials management, fulfillment and logistics


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations preferred
  • Ensures the highest degree of professionalism, friendliness, helpfulness and customer service at all times
  • Displays a professional image and is a role model in customer service
  • Desire to fill the needs of all internal and external customers with positive communication skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with strong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and manage multiple projects and assignments with a variety of staff and volunteers
  • Ability to make small group presentations and engage stakeholders
  • Fosters positive team morale and company culture
