Duties:
  • Demonstrate Pratt & Whitneys culture and values

  • Act in a mentoring capacity; openly share skills and experiences with others to selflessly grow and develop team members
  • Coordinate the F100 Foreign Object Prevention program; track toolingand part protection issues for process improvement purposes
  • Ability to read & understand Technical Manuals & other supporting documentation; ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues
  • Utilize such software platforms as Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Solumina, ESVR, and other supporting solutions
  • Assist in investigating significant issues and establishing root cause / corrective actions (DIVE)
  • Compile / trend F100 quality metrics data (monthly, quarterly, annually) for multiple outlets
  • Conduct internal audits of quality, operations, & business processes for verification of compliance to AS9110, as well as other applicable regulatory and/or company procedures
  • Manage cross functional teams for process improvement CORE initiatives
  • Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S, GT, CORE, Quality, and continuous improvement programs by following all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities
  • Maintain HAZMAT holding & LT90 areas, with proper waste removal of chemicals
  • Support investigation & reporting of injuries & near misses
  • Conduct EH&S audits and otherwise maintain compliance according to regulations for the F100 facility


Education / Certifications
  • High School Diploma


Basic Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or GED
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts
  • A&P License or two years relevant experience
  • ACE Associates Certificate


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or 60 credit hours towards bachelors degree
  • Turbine engine overhaul, inspection, and repair experience preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly. F100/Military Engines experience highly preferred.
