The Staff Services Analyst (SSA) will serve as a Division Facilities and Procurement liaison providing analytical support to Labor Commissioner Officer (LCO) programs as it relates to the facilities and procurement needs of the division's district offices on a statewide level. The incumbent will work collaboratively as a strategic thought partner with LCO management and staff and DIR staff in order meet the needs of the Labor Commissioner's Office (LCO).

Duties include analyzing space planning needs, evaluating supply, equipment, and specialized vendor services needs and working closely with LCO management and the LCO Contract and Budget Analyst to meet the needs of a growing division in the most cost-efficient manner. Additionally, the incumbent will routinely track and update the division's statewide inventory of equipment and supplies, process requisitions for supply orders, equipment, and services and review and process invoices for telecom services and language interpreter services utilizing the Financial Information System for California (Fi$cal), ensuring timely payment of services. The SSA will also manage and track multiple wide ranging facility projects and process mass procurement orders for LCO district offices.

The duties of this position are performed in an office setting. Telework schedules are applicable as appropriate and in accordance with current policy and practices of the Department. Staff are currently working rotational schedules in office to receive shipments of supplies and equipment and send out supplies and equipment to district offices.
