Facilities Engineer - SECRET - Clifton, NJ (6478)

Facilities Engineer needed for a contract to hire opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Clifton, NJ .

*Active Secret Clearance is required to be considered for this position!*

Summary:
Looking for an experienced maintenance project manager/engineer accountable for maintenance project execution, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. This position will have an interface with internal customers, suppliers, and stakeholder leadership. The role includes responsibility for guiding employees in their work and influencing them to deliver their best and to act within the corporate values.

Must Haves:

• Some type of cost management background
• Personnel management background - team lead/supervision
• Minimum of three to five years previous supervisory/management experience
• Strong project management and project execution skills
• Electrical/mechanical/civil engineering background

Education and Experience Required:

• Active Secret Clearance Required

Bachelor's degree in architecture, industrial engineering or other Facilities Management related field with 5-10 years experience

Nice to Haves:

• Facilities certifications (FMP Facilities Management Professional, CFM Certified Facilities Professional, PE Professional Engineer, LEED AP)
• HVAC, electrical knowledge, active security clearance would be nice or ability to obtain.
• Experience with Archibus or other move management software
• Knowledge of applicable laws/regulations, including those mandated by OSHA, ADA, NFPA, NEC, EPS, and local building codes
• Experience working with engineering blueprints, process specifications, and building layouts
• AutoCAD proficiency
