Role Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor position reports directly to the Essential Services Manager and is a pivotal part of all APG facilities maintenance operations. The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all facilities related maintenance, parts fabrication, event coordination and janitorial needs at the APG. The role also actively promotes the company's vision of integrity and compliance and leads their respective team and vendors with these company principles.
Role Responsibilities:
Facilities Maintenance Management 75%
• Responsible for the maintenance of ~80,000 sq. ft. of Office, Workshop, and Warehouse space, An above ground fueling facility, a cold specialty fueling station, and a 50 stall electric vehicle charging station.
• Responsible for the overall asset management, work planning, and spare part inventory using APG CMMS software. Manage work orders in the system; ensure proper creation, assignment, planning, updates and closure of work orders.
• Develop and manage all facilities related vendor relationships.
• Work with vendors to obtain pricing, compare proposals to statement of requirements and monitor vendor performance. This includes developing and maintaining compliant procurement documentation, maintaining status and plans for project and management reporting.
• Coordinate set up and break down for various meetings, programs, events, and other activities.
• Supervise and coordinate APG janitorial staff and custodial vendors.
• Supervise the design and fabrication of specialty test parts for APG testing departments and VW Brand test groups' worldwide.
• Coaches and directs team members towards achieving a high level of quality and accuracy in order to meet or exceed the VW Group standards.
• Supports management with hiring process including interviewing, hiring and training potential talent.
• Coordinates and provides regular on-site training opportunities for team members to adequately perform specialized technical procedures in accordance with group standards of accuracy, quality and safe practices.
Project Management 25%
• Works with Management on Facilities Projects.
• Uses PMP methodology to track project deliverables, schedule and costs

• HVAC Certification
• Electrician Certification
• Facilities Management Certification (CFM)
• Spanish Language Proficiency and/or German Language Proficiency
Work Flexibility:
• Occasional Domestic travel (average 1-2 times per year) required for business and training.
• Work schedule based on business requirements (minimum 40 hours/week) including occasional Saturday and occasional overtime. Core work hours are 7AM - 4PM.
• Often driving a motor vehicle, including performance class and prototypes, which may require completion of special training.
• Office environment, assigned desk
• Occasionally walk, stand, or stoop.
• Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
Education - Desired:
- Bachelor's Degree of Business Management, Project Management or related area
