Facilities & Maintenance Technician

Volt is immediately hiring Facilities & Maintenance Technician in the San Fernando Valley!

As a Facilities & Maintenance Technician you will:

• Provide facilities assistance in private offices.
• Conduct moves of office furniture upon request.
• Monitor, replace, and repair all lights and light fixtures.
• Maintain office areas to company standards, ensuring they are cleared of debris in compliance with the safety program.
• Maintain painted surfaces by patching and painting as required.
• Comply with all internal safety programs and external agency safety regulations.
• Monitor and maintain all air conditioner filters.
• Ensure all fire extinguishers are viable and replaced as required.
• Assist with hanging boards, filing trays, pictures, etc., upon request.
• Monitor and maintain all First Aid, AED, and Eyewash stations.
• Maintain the parking lot, keeping it clear of debris and trash.
• Monitor and maintain all emergency lighting.
• Assist contractors as appropriate upon request.
• Maintain internal and external building components to company standards.
• Assist mechanics in troubleshooting machine issues.
• Assist with moving machinery and other equipment upon request.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and repair of all equipment.

This is a Full-Time 1st Shift Opportunity.

Pay Rate: $22-25/hr

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of basic machine and facilities maintenance.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to multi-task, with previous experience working in a deadline-oriented environment.
