Facilities Maintenance Technician (Temporary 6 to 8 months)

We are presently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician who will support our Optics manufacturing company. This will be a temporary position for 6-8 months.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintain building, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, gas systems
• Maintain landscape appearance
• Contract with outside suppliers as required to support all above
• Support Safety Program with facilities issues
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and building systems
• Maintains detailed records of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks performed
• Performs required inventory transactions to ensure accurate inventory of parts and supplies
• Maintains and upgrades the professional appearance of the facility and grounds
• Continually, informally assesses building, grounds, and machinery with respect to functionality, professional appearance, and safety
• Assists Facilities manager with daily and special project
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in relevant facility maintenance function(s)
• HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical experience/skills preferred
• PLC Programming
• Manufacturing experience required
• Cleanroom, Building Automated Systems and DI Water experience is a plus
• Personal Computer skills including proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel
• Demonstrated dependability and flexibility
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Positive, honest, creative, and energetic attitude
• Ability to handle multiple roles and support requests simultaneously with excellent follow-up
• Ability to lift up to of 40 pounds
• Ability to be on your feet for eight hours
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent required, some college or trade school preferred

Benefits start day 1: Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay,

Pay Range $26-$32 per hour, depending on experience.
