About the role

Provides facilities project support, small project management, project planning and other services that support facilities operations.

Provide mentorship and administrative management, including responsibilities for coordinating multiple contractor teams and indirect interactions with shop supervision, resource discussions for technicians available, craftspeople, contracted resources and administrative support personnel. Organizationally responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and efficiently including the management of related work orders and purchase requisitions.

What you'll do

Develops vendor and contractor unit objectives that align and support company priorities, organizational and customer business objectives and goals. Implements and manages project plans that drives the work unit toward achieving CBRE and goals and objectives.

Challenged with meeting facilities and operations needs in the most effective means possible. Works closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements. Assists supervisors or team leaders for the work unit to integrate services to meet customer requirements. By direct association, being instrumental in identifying and implementing quality systems and plans that integrate with customer safety.

Maintain and engage to include personnel, expense and capital projections as well as specific business initiatives for continuous improvement and other financial goals. The coordinator is responsible for completing work while incorporating Proactive Asset Management and Equipment Reliability processes within the facilities management business processes.

Communicate effectively with various groups to ensure operational efficiency. Periodically reviews business indicators with their leadership team in order to guide continuous improvement activities. Inspire change throughout the organization and customer base.

Facilitates partnerships with local service providers to ensure technical capabilities and services are available that will provide consistent delivery of products and competitive pricing for our customers.

Assist engineers in their effort to appropriately balance the cost, schedule, scope, and quality of projects. Continue to seek ways to improve the project delivery process. Help resolve contractor work order late payment issues.

Safety

Ensures all work is performed in a safe manner applying all safety procedures, policies, and processes.

Engages vendor / contractor groups to ensure they are aware of the critical nature for completing the appropriate safety training and certifications.

Provides work groups with the appropriate safety feedback and ensures that they understand to keep all equipment in good working order.

Recognizes safe behaviors and addresses unsafe behaviors.

Participates in accident and near miss reviews.

Environmental/Regulatory

Maintains Individual Training Program curriculum completions in a timely manner. Ensures all work processes are conducted in accordance with all environmental policies, procedures, regulations and processes

What you'll need

Minimum of a high school education and 5+ years of practical experience in building systems.

5+ years experience in engineering, facilities maintenance, and/or utilities operations with demonstrated skills and abilities in project management required. Experience in facilities operations recommended. Manufacturing Quality System experience helpful.
