A client is looking to bring on a Facilities Technician II for a multi-building campus in Bothell, WA. This person will be tasked with maintaining site building and equipment in all disciplines, supporting the REF organization holistically. The expectation for this role is to work in a broad range of areas related to operations and managing electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs with specific maintenance duties.

Day to Day:
- The role is responsible for work related to managing electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs to support the irrigation system, snowplows and spreaders, trucks, roof maintenance and leak repair, gas distribution systems.
- This role will provide building and utility on call support and will maintain relationships with property management for repairs.
- The position will arrange for the patching and painting of facilities walls as required to maintain a neat and clean appearance.
- This person will maintain plumbing and keep drains in good working order.
- Oversees the installation of furniture and building fixtures, as well as modifications and additions to existing arrangements
- Coordinates or performs changes or repairs to electrical and mechanical systems
- Coordinates or performs surface maintenance as required to keep facilities in good condition
- Responsible for scheduling maintenance of company vehicles

Assists with the coordination of preventative maintenance of building systems

Required Skills & Experience

Must haves
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience performing equipment maintenance and basic mechanical or electrical work
- Self motivated, flexible individual who can manage multiple priorities and work within a fast paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self starter who works independently

Able to lift 30-50 pounds on the regular

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or health care (HIGHLY preferred)
- Previous work in a lab environment
- Previous GMP experience
- Previous GLP experience

Trade School or Apprenticeship
