About the role

Plans, implements, coordinates and leads all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management to support all site HVAC, Electrical and Clean/ Dirty Utilities.

What You'll Do:
  • All Facilities assets and infrastructure including Clean Utilities, Logistics, and the Central Utility Plant
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis for any Central Utility alarm investigation and deviations
  • Liaise with client's Engineers and Leadership team as needed
Emergency Response / Fire Systems
  • Lead on emergency response issues where there is an electrical/mechanical problem.
Equipment Maintenance
  • Optimize Preventative Maintenance and Job Plans
  • Provide support to maintenance team with repairs/troubleshooting
  • Support training and skills development of CBRE technicians. Introduce new maintenance techniques and technology
  • Review problem assets, conduct failure analysis
  • Review/approve LOTO procedures, responsible for CBRE LOTO events.
Fume
  • Participate in client FUME and operational meetings as appropriate
  • Align scheduled outages with Manufacturing and Site Leadership, request outages when needed
Trackwise / Compliance
  • Lead adherence to client's SOP's and engineering requirements
  • Support change management activities via Trackwise
  • Review/approve Trackwise submissions
  • Partner with CBRE Quality to lead or support investigations and CAPA's
  • Lead investigations and develop countermeasures and improvements to prevent recurrence
Capital Planning
  • CBRE Lead on providing input and supporting data
Continuous Improvement Lead
  • Lead data analysis/trending, streamlining/Lean approaches, cost savings
Project Support
  • Primary CBRE representative with Project Management for client's assets.
  • Participate in project meetings, represent IFM, assist in scheduling IFM resources, speak to electrical and mechanical concerns.

What you'll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 or more years of job-related experience.

Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.
