JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:

• Associate Degree or equivalent experience

Experience:

• At least five years of maintenance supervisory experience required.

Required Knowledge:

• Must have mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills by use of listening, seeing, and watching
• Knowledge of related computer applications
• Excellent understanding of facility management procedures

Skills/ Abilities:

• Able to organize, coordinate, and direct team activities
• Ability to supervise and lead a team of 3 to 5 mechanics
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications: Word and Excel
• Good math skills
• Able to use all related maintenance equipment
• Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:

• Most work is performed in typical warehouse conditions. During part of the workday the incumbent will be
  moving about the Distribution Center warehouse floor and potential hazards exist in regard to machinery such as
  forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement of tractors and trailers, etc.
• Noise levels in all areas are within acceptable tolerance ranges for those specific work areas.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
• Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist, and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures.
• Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
• Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work both at ground level and in high
  places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work-related equipment.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth
  perception, and ability to adjust focus.
