The Department of Prosthetics-Orthotics is seeking a Faculty Associate to join our dynamic clinical team which proudly serves two esteemed University Hospitals, Children's Health Hospital, and an array of premier physical therapy and specialty multidisciplinary clinics. This opportunity offers full-time patient care alongside the chance to mentor students and residents within the clinic setting. Minimum Qualifications:
  • ABC Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
  • Must have graduated from an NCOPE-accredited program. Master's degree is preferred.
  • The selected applicant must apply for a Texas license upon hire.
  • Applicants must have strong clinical skills with prior hospital experience.
Responsibilities and Expectations:

Key responsibilities encompass providing comprehensive inpatient orthotic care, participating in rotating weekend hospital on-call duties, managing cranial remolding cases, and delivering general orthotic and prosthetic patient care in our outpatient facilities.
