New Jersey Jackals
The New Jersey Jackals are a Frontier League team established in 1998 located in Augusta, NJ. The Frontier League is a professional MLB Partner League who features teams from the Midwest, Canada and the East Coast.
We play 96 Games from May through September in Historic Hinchcliffe Stadium in Paterson, NJ.
Hinchcliffe Stadium was drastically refurbished in 2023.
THE POSITION
The New Jersey Jackals are seeking four (4) student interns for the October-December 2024 time period to assist with ticket sales initiatives and community outreach including job fairs and school appearances.
The interns will be trained in all aspects of benefit selling including prospecting, overcoming objections and closing as well as becoming well versed on the Jackals ticketing system. Each intern will also be expected to create, develop and execute one specific group promotional event.
The Jackals are built an extensive school reading program in 2024. The interns will assist with the implementation and growth of the reading program and other community outreach programs administered by the Jackals. Other duties may be assigned by the General Manager.
This internship is only available for college-level students, both undergrad and graduate, who are looking for an UNPAID COLLEGE CREDIT INTERNSHIP. The internship begins in October 2024 and concludes in December 2024 . It is expected that each intern will be on-site in our office in Little Falls, NJ between 20-25 hours per week during their internship.
These interns will also have the first opportunity to continue their internship (if needed) throughout the season (May-September 2024) for additional college credit.
