To further this mission, we are looking for a dynamic Family Engagement Specialist. This role will play a pivotal role by overseeing project management and development of high-quality resources that supports the Family Engagement Team.

This role will assist with:
  • Communications - Enhancing communications both within and outside K20 by confirming an accurate and efficient flow of information.
  • Community Learning Facilitation - Designing, organizing, and delivering community learning opportunities for parents and guardians of cohort students. This will play a crucial role as you strengthen the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of the cohort families.
  • Instructional Design - Engaging in the creation and implementation of effective parent/guardian learning experiences, while staying aligned with the sponsored project's goals and objectives.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in education, social work, counseling or related field, AND
  • 48 months of experience in education, social work, or counseling

Departmental Preferences:
  • 60 months of experience in education, social work, or counseling, which includes 48 months of managing/leading multiple projects and 36 months of planning, developing, and facilitating a learning activity .
  • Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, in Spanish.
