Natchaug Hospital is Eastern Connecticut's leading provider for children, adolescents and adults with mental illness and substance abuse addictions. We offer a variety of programs including inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment for court-involved teenage girls, geriatric services, clinical day treatment schools and chemical dependency services. Through our multi-site network of care, we constantly strive to meet its mission in helping people find their way while educating and empowering individuals to participate in their own care and recovery.
Job Summary
Develops and implements family engagement and empowerment strategies, provides direct support to families, provides skills training (DBT), and shares the family's perspective with program staff and administrators. The Family Support Liaison is a member of the treatment team and will support the clinician with scheduling family visits, home visits, as well as providing transportation to families. Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 4 years experience and training in behavioral health
• Current CT Driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain a Public Service License "A" Endorsement within 90 days of hire, which requires passing pre-hire drug screen and DOT physical exam
• Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills required
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including evening and weekend coverage. May include some holiday hours to meet the needs of the families we serve
• Knowledge in Epic
