As a Farm Training Intern you will:
- Perform projects to improve training practices and procedures.
- Assist in the development, creation and implementation of training programs and modules in the areas of farming, agriculture, and farm insurance.
- Evaluate current training programs regarding effectiveness and provide feedback for improvement.
- Learn to identify risks and hazards on farming operations.
- Recommend risk improvements and/or loss control measures related to farming operations.
- Assist farm underwriting staff in resolving problems and questions.
- Establish positive public relations with insured, and the public through professional conduct and appearance.
- Effectively communicate decisions, recommendations, and job-related information to internal and external customers.
- Gather and interpret data relating to farm structures.
- Promote good working relationships with all Company divisions.
