FWS Student Assistant (Campus Assistance & Resources for Empowerment)

Job Description:

CARE Student Assistants deliver support to fellow students in distress. Primary duties include:

• Providing excellent customer service as you connect students, faculty, and family members to the resources they need.
• Scheduling meetings for students and families with Care staff members
• Collecting and entering pertinent information into student-of-concern reports or referrals
• Supporting the processing of medical petitions.
• Assists with various special projects and administrative tasks

Expected Salary:

12.00

Details Requirements:

• Provide documentation of the Federal Work Study
• Pay rate is $12.00/hour
• Applicants must be available to work between 10-20 hours/week
• Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5

Preferred Qualifications:

• Personable with great verbal and written communication
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, interact professionally
• Willingness to work in a team environment
• Effective writing and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
