Federal Work Study Student Worker: FWS/Co-Op, Testing Center - Cincinnati, OH

Overview : Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is seeking a Federal Work Study Student for the position of Student Worker, Testing Center. This position consists of greeting customers, providing information, answering telephones, taking messages and transferring calls. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to pay attention to detail. It is mandatory to be able to work in a team environment and assist with the flow of the testing center.

Essential Duties:

1. Serve as a receptionist for the Testing Center providing outstanding customer service and greeting visitors in a friendly manner.
2. Provide accurate information to students and visitors.
3. Answer and transfer incoming calls, take messages, make outgoing phone calls.
4. Data entry.
5. Schedule testing appointments.
6. Assist with preparing Testing Center reports.
7. Scan and link documents.
8. Assist with preparing testers for various exams.
9. Support the Office of Admission with enrollment campaigns.
10. Perform housekeeping duties.
11. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Must have completed a FAFSA for the current school year and have been awarded Federal Work Study.
• Must have computer skills in Microsoft Office products, Windows application, and must be comfortable with operating computers.
• Must meet and continue to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
• Must be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen.
• Must demonstrate financial need.

Hourly Pay: $14.00 per hour

Federal Work Study (Maximum of 20 hours per week)
