VPG, a world leader in sensor technology, is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our growing team in Wendell, NC.

In this role, you'll be a technical champion for our customers, providing expert support and driving the adoption of our innovative sensing solutions.

What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their unique needs and recommend the perfect VPG solution.
  • Become a trusted advisor, providing technical expertise and guidance on product integration and application development.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and engineering to drive new business opportunities and market expansion.
  • Conduct customer visits, workshops, and training sessions to showcase VPG's capabilities and build lasting relationships.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to leverage VPG's technology for cutting-edge applications.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and enhancements based on customer feedback.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (mechanical engineering, material science, or similar filed of study) preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sensors, design, testing, or a similar area is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them to a customer audience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  • A collaborative spirit and a drive to achieve results.
