We are seeking a Field Marketing Associate (hybrid, based in Elgin, Illinois) to be responsible for driving top of funnel lead and marketing-influenced pipeline growth through virtual & hybrid events, webinars, in-person customer events and industry tradeshows.

With our ever-evolving industrial connectivity solutions and B2B customers in OEM and Distribution, our marketing function continues to evolve engaging customers in a range of hands-on and virtually immersive interactions.

To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to:

• Responsible for oversight of all HARTING US marketing events including in-person industry Trade Shows (~5 per year), hosted Roadshow Tour truck events at customer and distributor locations, and a growing number of virtual - live or on-demand - events shot from our Elgin 'Digital Experience Center' studio.
• Is go-to-source for HARTING Roadshow Tour which includes scheduling and other coordination with sales team account leaders.
• Participates in the logistics and planning of events including, tradeshows, conferences, open houses, trainings and other marketing events. Assists with pre- and post -event communications.
• Work closely with Industry Segment Managers, Product Managers, and Sales Team leaders as the primary stakeholders representing HARTING with customers in these event settings.
• Develop pre- and post- event marketing strategies to maximize engagement and conversion rates with registered attendees.
• Enable sales team with tools and establishing processes including efficient sample and local trade show management.
• Bring new and innovative ideas to the execution of events, raising the bar for the impact they have: driving customer engagement, brand affinity, and driving measurable pipeline and revenue.

Skills and experience to thrive in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience (degree preferred)
• Minimum of one year experience in Marketing (preferably with experience executing virtual and/or in person events)
• Self-motivated, takes the initiative, but knows when to ask questions.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work on many projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally.
• Adjust to fluctuating workload and deadlines.
• Manage time and resources; establish priorities.
• Travel up to 20% required.
