Position Details:
• Title: Field Service Tech
• Location: California (Sacramento, Fresno, Hayward)
• Compensation:
Level C: $24-$32 Level B: $32-$38 Level C: $38-$45 (all depending on experience)
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, tool and shoe allowance, company vehicle provided
• Travel: 50-80% In the territory areas listed above

Position Description & Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for providing scheduled and preventable maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment) and performing minor and major Jenbacher engine overhauls in the field.

Requirements:
• Experience with mechanical power generation equipment.
• Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines.
• Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools)
• Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagrams
• Experienced in troubleshooting and repairs of an engine.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Ability to travel inclusion of some overnight travel.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Must be able to communicate via telephone & email.
