What You'll Do:

The Administrator of the Office of Field Services and Pupil Transportation oversees the Pupil Transportation team. The Pupil Transportation team ensures all school transportation providers adhere to all applicable rules, regulations, and laws, including all relevant statutes of the Ohio Revised Code and Ohio Administrative Code. The Administrator will provide legal guidance and interpretation and ensure proper procedure is followed in the event of school transportation non-compliance.
  • Lead Pupil Transportation team in all their duties and investigations of school transportation providers.
  • Alert school transportation providers of non-compliance or failure to transport as applicable.
  • Interpret and advise on Ohio Administrative Code and Ohio Revised Code statutes and regulations, making suggestions on rule changes when applicable.
  • Attend Pupil Transportation events and functions and present to groups of stakeholders as needed, providing rule updates and important information when applicable.

Qualifications
Admission to Ohio Bar pursuant to Section 4705.01 of Revised Code; 18 mos. exp. as licensed attorney; 6 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques.
