Responsibilities

Film Production
Film, edit and produce a variety of educational videos for students and educators (e.g. documentary-style educational videos, marketing-style informative videos, instructional tutorials/videos for curriculum, etc.) that includes graphic designing and animations. Work with STEM content specialists to collaborate in the design and planning and procurement of the filming sets (local and on-location). Work with STEM coordinators to ensure vision and audience appropriateness of media productions for each product.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in film production, motion graphics, or a similar field and two years of experience in video production; or a high school diploma/equivalency and six years of experience in the same areas.
(Note: or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to six years in the same areas.)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Experience in the development of motion graphics.
  • Experience working with multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of all the Adobe video and audio editing software applications .

Anticipated Salary Range

Mid to high $40,000.00's commensurate with experience.
