Develops, prepares, interprets and monitors moderate to complex financial analysis, financial projections and reports used by UP and clinical department leadership and management for decision making. Researches and analyzes atypical/complex data, prepares routine reports including financial statements and summary reports noting key issues and patterns in data.

Prepare, review and reconcile financial statements for clinical departments, and UP. Provide support, clarification and assistance to clinical departments as needed.

Prepares uploads and maintains clinical financial data in related finance/cost accounting system(s).

Collaborates/prepares University Physicians annual budget. Works with department leadership teams to develop and interpret clinical budgets in Workday.

Performs complex statistical, financial and cost-accounting analyses. May prepare analyses and reports for university management and state and federal government agencies.

Performs routine analytical assignments using existing procedures.

Prepares studies and reports that assist senior level associates.

Performs a variety of standard assignments and responsibilities and makes recommendations for improvement/efficiency, as necessary.

Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems.

Researches and analyzes information and uses standard practices to make informed judgments and recommendations.

Has limited impact on own work team.

Works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Exchanges ideas and information, asks questions, and ensures parties/audiences understand the message.

Develops working relationships with internal parties and may work with external parties, as needed.

Shift

Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Office/Administrative Hours: Yes - Position will have Office/Admin Hours

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Training: Prior knowledge and experience with Power-BI, Workday Budget, Peoplesoft queries, Cerner and GE/IDX are preferred.
