What is the mission of the Finance Analyst?

As a Financial Analyst, you'll provide crucial support across various finance functions, performing in-depth financial analysis and reporting. You'll rotate between core finance areas to meet business needs, ensuring accurate and timely financial insights to drive performance.

What will I do as a Financial Analyst?
  • Generate periodic and ad-hoc reports across different functions to support business operations.
  • Prepare schedules, templates, and narratives, facilitating processes to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Provide analytical support to identify, analyze, and interpret business performance drivers and opportunities.
  • Analyze P&L lines to diagnose period performance and understand drivers across departments.
  • Work with business leads to plan future periods and project financial impacts.
  • Prepare variance explanations, allocation budgets, and other financial documentation.
  • Collect, evaluate, and analyze financial data for long-term planning, annual budgets, forecasts, and periodic projections.
  • Conduct trend and variance analysis compared to budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify reasons for performance variances.
  • Offer insights and actionable recommendations based on financial analysis.

What do we expect you to bring to the table?
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in preparing financial reports, schedules, and variance explanations.
  • Experience with trend analysis, budget forecasts, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to provide actionable insights and support business planning.
  • Ability to validate and ensure the accuracy of vendor deals.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across departments
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Excel and Power BI

What are the details?
  • Reporting: The Finance Analyst Reports to the Commercial Finance Team.
  • Hybrid Remote: This position is based out of Carlisle, Pa. And will require 3 days a week in the office.

  • Travel: This position will require travel 5% of the time.
