Summary of Responsibilities:

This position is for a 10-week Summer Internship. The Santander Investments Finance & Data Analytics Team Intern will support the Finance & Data Teams of our Broker Dealer, Santander Investments within Consumer and Digital Transformation.

This 2025 Summer Internship is for undergraduate students who have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026.

Essential Functions:

The intern will develop skills to support key functions & initiatives, such as:

• Producing and analyzing financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for management review
• Developing the annual budget, the strategic plan and monthly forecasts
• Ensuring that management has a thorough understanding of business results through the communication of reporting and analysis
• Reporting on Key Performance Indicators to summarize business performance
• Exploring and analyzing data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to the team
• Providing meaningful recommendations to the team based on data analysis
• Developing data models to support decision-making and forecasting
• Assisting in Salesforce administration, testing and implementation

Requirements:

• An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between December 2025 - Spring 2026
• Major in finance, data analytics or related field
• A cumulative GPA or 3.0 or above
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint; SQL or Salesforce experience is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced market environment
• Solid professional and personal work ethic
• Ability to work independently on special projects
• Ability to work in an environment that supports employees from all backgrounds and fosters an environment of inclusion.

Working Conditions:

• Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs.
• Travel to multiple facilities may be required.
• May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
• May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.
• May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
• Corporate / satellite office role.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Salary: $52,000 - $52,000/year
