Opportunities are available in the following areas depending on interest and abilities:

• Accounting
• Financial Analysis and Planning
• Healthcare Economics
• Financial Operations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close
• Assist with updating reports to effectively show financial results and financial forecasts
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis, identify issues and provide corrections in a timely manner
• Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and account reconciliations
• Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits
• Participates in professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field from an accredited college / university during the duration of the internship. Other degrees are considered when accompanied by aptitude or interests in finance. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
• 1+ years of working with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc. as well as proficiency in other Office applications
• Reliable transportation
