The US Manufacturing Finance Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for partnering with the Site-level Finance and Operations teams as well as Direct Material savings and Materials Management teams on Operational Accounting/Finance across the US manufacturing sites.

This position is part of the Finance department located in Chaska, MN and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Accounting and Compliance
  • Direct responsibility for accounting of our US Materials Management and Facilities and lead continuous reviews of accounting processes and performance metrics to assess operational efficiency and to ensure processes meet the present and anticipated needs of all stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between US manufacturing sites to establish best practices/standard work and ensure proper operational accounting, standard costing, inventory management and financial compliance.

FP&A
  • Be the financial partner to the Materials Management and Facilities leaders and their teams to help set and drive the short- and long-term financials with the right balance of being tactical and strategic. This includes managing key factors like cost control, inventory management, etc. while providing overall budgeting and financial analysis with clear insights and decisions to support corporate initiatives.
  • Lead team to improve business processes and business support. Ability to drive OP and Inventory improvement initiatives with the Operations leadership team. Takes initiative and partners with various functions in the organization to resolve issues, enhance business processes as well as leveraging specific DBS tools such as daily management, standard work, and problem solving to drive fact-based decision making and process improvements.

Leadership
  • Financial leader of US-based Materials Management and Facilities and serve as standardization project leader of teams including Finance and Operational leaders across the US.

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 10+ years of relevant experience or CPA or MBA with 7+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably as Plant Controller.
  • Leadership experience in a large manufacturing company with a matrixed organizational structure

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Oracle, OBI and Power BI

This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $100k-$120k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
