Job Summary

Create and maintain data collection systems for the monitoring and presentation of key operational metrics, including financial data, practice and physician level clinical activity, production data and collaborating with the administrative team in monitoring of key contract metrics such as CME, Dues/Subscriptions, payment / bonus reconciliations and employment agreement terms. Ensure the operational metrics are accurately monitored and measured according to actual and budgeted values. Prepare and report to the Executive team relevant financial data and operational metrics of CAMC Ambulatory Division and South Region Hospitals. Continuously perform strategic analysis, meet ongoing data, and report generation requests and provide operational input based on current and projected scenarios related to physician employment and project assessments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial feasibility studies, review/evaluate studies, and administrative planning studies as assigned. • Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial data as required for financial reporting, budgets and forecasting. • Analyze financial operation of physician practices, prepare recommendations and documentation to create and update fiscal service and other related policies and procedures with respect to accounting systems. • Create and maintain data collection systems. • Accumulate and maintain detailed records of assets, liabilities revenues, and expenses as assigned. • Prepare budget documents. • Assist Executive with special projects as assigned. • Attend meetings as required and participate on committees as requested. • Enhance professional growth and development through in-service meetings, educational programs, seminars, conferences, workshops, etc. to keep abreast of trends and changes in the field. • Monitor and report on actual and budgeted performance metrics. • Report on Physician and Practice level productivity and clinical activity metrics. • Assist and prepare as indicated, budgets, pro forma, business plans and ad hoc reports in collaboration with BRCA. • Work with Practice level management and Physicians on tracking pertinent data relevant to the operational and physician employment environment. • Support Executive Team on reporting and project requests as needed. • Assist with Malpractice Insurance Agency on current physician roster, additions, or deletions. • Work with Academic leaders on their group incentives by calculation of work RVUs. • Provide work RVU information monthly to A.A., department heads and physicians. • Invoicing for CAMC clients such as telemedicine services, physicians working at other hospitals via service or leasing agreements.

• Bachelor's Degree (Required) Education: Degree should be in business- accounting- finance or related field Experience: 5-7 Years - related financial experience
