Financial Analyst II

Insight Global is looking for a Financial Analyst II to join one of our consumer electronics clients based out of Plano, TX. This person will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial management and analysis to support the benefits department. This includes preparing financial reports related to various insurance plans and assisting with insurance-related inquiries. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a high level of proficiency in Excel and a background in financial reporting / accounting. This is a 12-month contract and requires to be on site 5 days a week. (See additional details below)
- Provide financial management for benefits department
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to various insurance plans, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance
- Provide financial data and analysis to HR Business Partners to support decision-making regarding insurance benefits
- Assist employees with insurance-related inquiries, explaining plan details and resolving issues
- Track and report on insurance plan performance, utilization rates, and cost trends
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for benefits programs, ensuring accurate allocation of funds

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
2-3 years of professional experience providing financial reports and/or accounting
Proficient in Excel
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of HR benefits programs and related financial management
Experience working for an enterprise level consumer electronics company

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
