About this position :

Advantech USA is seeking a Financial Analyst who will play an integral role to the company and be an exceptional addition to the business operations team in our Irvine office. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Corporate Development Manager. In this role, the Financial Analyst will facilitate assigned projects by serving as a liaison between each department heads, setting and communicating goals, and evaluating and refining results. This Analyst will be focused on producing and delivering meaningful, accurate, actionable, and timely financial analysis to Mangers at all levels of the organization as well as the budgeting and forecasting process with an emphasis on consolidating financial information across the organization.

The team is seeking a driven individual with excellent critical thinking skills and high attention to detail, who enjoys working in a fast-paced and regularly changing environment, and who can effectively manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities :
  • Monthly preparations of assigned Business Group's P&L with variance analysis and identification of key business drivers.
  • Monthly tracking of Product Managers and sales performance through prepared dashboards.
  • Communicate monthly performance to the PM team or sales team throughout the organization (Top Management, Business Units, Department heads).
  • Participate in driving the annual budgeting process by collaborating with department heads and prepare results for management.
  • Interact with, and provide, broad analytical and business support to assigned functional unit(s).
  • All other financial analysis duties as assigned by the department manager.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and best practices across the organization to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of reporting and planning processes.
  • Assist in the roll-out of customer service programs, such as direct fulfillment, advanced replacement, and extended product lifetime.
  • Performs other related activities as needed to support corporate objectives.


Qualifications :
  • B.A./B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; or an equivalent in education and experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Experience with SAP and Salesforce a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills; Able to communicate and collaborate with professionals at all levels.
  • Self-starter, strong problem-solving and organization skills to effectively manage priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, accurate, thorough, and maintains accurate records.
  • A team player and strong work ethics with high motivation.
