The Department of Housing Services is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in the Finance, Budget and Accounting Division and to support the work of providing housing stability in Washington County.

This position will primarily support the Senior Financial Analyst in building the department budget, creating financial dashboards, updating the cost allocation plan, analyzing financial statements, generating ad-hoc reports, and forecasting the organization's financial health. This position will also work closely with the program staff to gather and provide information necessary for data-driven decision-making.

This position is hybrid eligible and can work remotely 2-3 days per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or a related field; AND two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience performing budgetary or financial analysis, or auditing; OR
  • An Associate's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or a related field; AND four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience performing budgetary or financial analysis, or auditing; OR
  • Six (6) years of progressively responsible professional experience performing budgetary or financial analysis, or auditing, of which at least four (4) years of experience must be in the public sector.
