Insight Global is seeking a mid-level Financial and Budget Analyst in the DC area with strong financial analysis experience to support a federal government client in Washington, D.C. We're looking for a passionate, detail-oriented person interested in supporting an international global security program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Supports the federal client with financial analysis and program management
* Supports the tracking of all funds related to program execution pertaining to the annual spend plan
* Drafts financial reports as needed
* Develops and improves current Business Processes
* Conducts burn rate analysis and tracking of expected costs
* Supports the planning and execution of acquisition activities in support of the Directorate, while managing within established cost, schedule, and performance thresholds
* Supports the program's acquisition project lifecycle processes and artifacts to ensure all requirements for the program have been met in accordance with the spend plan
* Supports efforts to track cost, schedule, performance, and risk management
* Supports the development of program out-year budgets
* Assists with updating and maintaining cost estimates and related documentation

Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
* 5+ years of experience as a Financial or Budget Analyst a federal agency
* Proficiency with the full Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint)
* Exceptional editing and financial data analysis skills to ensure deliverables submitted to the client for final approval are error-free
* Experience with WebEx, Zoom, and other virtual meeting platforms
* Knowledge of SAP, Maximo, TRIRIGA, or other similar programs supporting federal agencies
* Ability to obtain Public Trust
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
