Our client, a diversified global agriculture business cooperative, is seeking a Level 4 Financial Analyst Lead to join their team. As an FA Lead, you will lead budgeting and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving, time-management and communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Financial Analyst: IV (Lead)

Job Type: 1 year Contract with potential to convert to FTE

Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077

Schedule: Hybrid,8-hour day, anytime between 7am-5pm

Pay Range: $60 - $70 hourly

What's the Job?

• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities. Consolidate and review budgeting, forecast and quarterly financial reporting (QFR) materials from across the Energy businesses.
• Analyze budget and forecast variances and communicate facts and insights to leadership team.
• Perform cost analysis and communicate insights to inform effective decision-making related to capital projects.
• Review & assist in preparing QFR packages for distribution to corporate and senior leadership.
• Extract and analyze data to provide meaningful decision support to leadership, performing ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive standardization, efficiency and waste elimination.
• Lead and coordinate finance technology initiatives.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of relevant experience required in:
  • budgeting and forecasting activities, and quarterly financial reporting (QFR) review
  • variance analysis
  • cost analysis
  • data analysis and decision support
  • process improvements
  • finance technology coordination
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics
