Major Duties

What to Expect
  • Performs a variety of regional budget functions, including budget administration, preparation and monitoring of operating and capital budgets.
  • Creates and monitors individual cost center budgets.
  • May perform a myriad of regional analytical and administrative functions to include preparing reports and correspondence for management briefings; preparing internal and external written correspondence for appropriate authority signature; acting as point of contact for state licensing requirements; responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments and internal control reviews as required.
  • Responsible for a variety of unrelated regional administrative/operations functions such as; addressing conflicting program requirements; personnel requirements versus funding and ceiling limitations and develop alternatives or compromise solutions.
  • Coordinate and oversee funding in regards to construction and other funding projects.
  • This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, or related field from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Four years of experience that demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, concepts, theories and techniques.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations preferred.
  • Current MCCS financial management experience preferred.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
