Our Client, a Global Investment Bank, is seeking a Financial Controller in their New York, NY location.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare or review monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close activities for carried interest compensation plans including mark-to-market revenue and expense, fund distributions and payments to participants
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly investment and compensation reporting schedules
  • Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders including Human Resources, Investment Management Controllers, Legal Entity Controllers, Financial and Regulatory Reporting, Tax and fund and plan administrators
  • Maintain and update strong control environment/audit documentation
  • Assist with Ad Hoc requests and projects

Requirements:
  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • CPA candidate preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience, compensation/investment accounting a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete deliverables in a timely manner with high attention to detail

Hourly Pay Range: $50.00 to $60.00
