A client/employer of Insight Global is searching for a contract Data Analyst to assist with financial documentation and reporting. The primary responsibility for this role will be documentation and reporting of previous data solutions. This person will need to be onsite in Memphis, Tennessee three days per week with the remainder being remote. The contract duration will be increments of 3 months with potential to convert to a permanent position after 6 months.
Roles and Responsibilities for this position may include:
Assist in documenting solutions previously built within the team
Extracting and transforming data while using SQL Power Query and Excel
Auditing previously built solutions and identifying areas for improvement
Work alongside key stakeholders to begin new projects as needed

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field
3 years of experience in reporting specifically within the finance realm
Strong knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, SQL, and ETL
Attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills
Proficiency working with SAP
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Data engineering experience
Experience working with Altryx and Power BI
