Insight Global is hiring a full-time Financial Reporting Supervisor for one of our large renewable energy clients. This individual will sit on the reporting team to support partnership with the business in growing the portfolio of non-regulated solar and wind assets while overseeing and developing 3-5 direct reports. Collaborating closely with the business and team members, this role should primarily function in a reviewer role for all compliance and reporting aspects of respective solar and wind operating projects and deliverables.

Responsibilities include:
Supervise and support the professional growth of direct reports.
Evaluate quarterly and annual financial statements for assigned project/portfolio financings and partnerships.
Review debt service coverage ratio filings on a quarterly or semi-annual basis for assigned project/portfolio financings.
Oversee internal reporting requirements for specific areas.
Conduct analytical reviews of results for assigned projects.
Assess annual external audit deliverables related to project/portfolio financings and partnerships.
Familiarize yourself with assigned projects/portfolios by studying financing and partnership agreements.
Ensure compliance with debt covenants and any new relevant accounting standards.
Collaborate with lenders, joint venture partners, external auditors, vendors, and consultants as needed.
Handle ad hoc requests from internal and external parties or special projects as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant study
Minimum 8 years' experience in accounting, specific to financial reporting (cash flows, balance sheets, footnotes, etc.)
Strong experience in financial applications (OneStream preferred but not required)
Solid ability within Microsoft Office products, emphasis in Microsoft Excel
Desire to excel in a management/leadership role and passionate about mentorship

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Certified Public Accountant
Background in Renewables
Public Accounting background (large regional/Big Four)
