Job Summary:

Safety and Procedures:

• Follow all publicized safety policies/procedures and JIBS applicable to the job.
• Use appropriate PPE that has been identified on the Hazard Analysis for the department/role.
• Attend and participate in all safety training, safety meetings, audits and Behavior Based Safety programs assigned.
• Report all safety hazards observed. If capable, correct the safety hazard identified.

Essential Job Functions:

• To work rotating shifts w/ potential weekend shifts
• To operate table for finishing and/or coating applications
• To understand the Theory of Finishing
• Basic computer skills
• The ability to construct and interpret JIBS.
• To perform all tasks requested by Finishing Team Lead and/or Finishing Area Manager.
• To perform minor maintenance work.
• Participate in TPM program
• Cross Train
• To have the ability to understand the Trailer Card for Finishing information and instructions.
• This position will be included on dept. backfill for weekend shift
• To act as a mature, responsible member of the Finishing Team.
• To work on Process Improvement upgrades.
• To participate on various department groups or committees.
• To work overtime as needed
