Fleet Mechanic - Full Time

Are you a self-motivated and energetic Fleet Mechanic looking for a new opportunity? Green View is currently seeking a Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on a diverse fleet of landscaping equipment.

Responsibilities: As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting regular maintenance checks on all gasoline/diesel vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
• Demonstrating knowledge of electrical, powertrain, chassis, brakes, and hydraulic components
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitoring, ordering, and maintaining inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance
• Performing welding tasks on equipment, as necessary
• Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work performed
• Working closely with the Operations team to ensure all vehicles and equipment are available and ready for use when needed
• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Requirements: To be considered for the Fleet Mechanic position, you must meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with landscaping and gardening equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a valid driver's license (Class C or B-CDL a plus) and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical
• Required to possess a complete set of personal tools necessary to perform job duties
• Quality written and verbal communication
