Indi1 What you'll do as a Mechanic Examine vehicle and determine repair and/or service Determine nature and extent of damage or malfunction Order necessary parts Plan work procedures Remove unit such as engine, transmission, or differential, as needed Disassemble unit and inspects parts for wear Repair or replace parts such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings Rebuild parts, rewire systems, conduct adjustments Flexibility to work in multiple locations Other duties as assigned What you'll need To be at least 18 years old Authrization to work in the United States for this company Have a valid, undrestricted drivers license, included an MVR recrod that is deemed acceptable by the company Experience as a mechanic Ability to operate manual and mechanical equipment necessary to complete jobs Preferred Qualifications Class - A CDL is preferred, as moving equipment is requirement Ability to obtain knowledge of "safety systems" associated with trenching and/or drilling Physical abilities and exposures Routinely - Use hands and fingers for fine motor skills and more, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Some specific vision abilities are required for close vision and distant vision, color vision, peripheral, and depth percention. Position does have some outside work environment requirements and this will vary throughout the day.
