About the Program:

Wing is hosting a 12 week paid internship during the summer of 2025. It will be an in-person, hybrid internship based in Palo Alto, CA with start dates either in May or June.

About the Opportunity:

Wing is looking for a Flight Test Engineering Intern to join our Flight Test team based in Hollister, CA. The Flight Test team performs world class flight testing to further Wing's developmental and validation efforts. A day on the flight test team can involve flying a flight test, working on flight test plans, performing analysis of flight test data, and/or working on flight test reports.

In this role, you will:

Be responsible for a flight test project, taking it through each of the phases (planning, preparation, execution, and reporting). The flight test team will support you through this process. Flight test encompasses a lot of domains; you won't need to be an expert in all of them, but we'll be looking for you to be familiar with as many as possible.

What You'll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering or science field, graduating December 2025 or August 2026
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplines
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and an appetite for innovation
  • Ability to work with prototypes, provide feedback on flying characteristics, and/or perform data analysis of flight data.
  • Must have an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate

This is your chance to:
  • Perform a real flight test
  • Execute the full plan, execute, analyze, report cycle for a flight test
  • Collaborate with Winglets in multiple domains to achieve test objectives


The US base salary range for this internship position is the salary range below + benefits. Wing's salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

$106,000-$109,000 USD
