Clarification from the agency

Duties
- Clean kitchen equipment such as work tables, sinks, refrigerators, dishes, pots and pans.
- Performs a full range of simple cooking by preparing and cooking items of a short menu lists.
- Prepares food by peeling, chopping, grinding. Paring, cutting, slicing, dicing, flouring and breading.
- Process customer transactions on a POS system.
- Basic set-up for event/parties.
Requirements
Conditions of Employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
- Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
- Certificate of Medical Examination required.
- Must be willing and able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.

This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. - All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
