Food and Beverage Supervisor

Overview:
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Sawmill Creek, you will motivate and manage subordinates and staff, maintain ppropriate cost and labor levels, complete frequent inventory and stocking of product, maintain cleanliness of all work locations, ensure guest service, and additional duties assigned by supervision. /You will also be responsible for preparation of various food products according to prescribed recipes. Keep a clean, sanitary, and orderly area including the preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Take steps to ensure that associates are trained in all facets of the operation such as service procedure, production flow, equipment usage and cleaning.
• Oversee cash control within the location(s) and with Resale Loss Prevention to maintain accurate cash records and decrease variances.
• Learn, understand and demonstrate proficiency in operational tasks, service/production flow, equipment cleaning and usage, and menu items in the location.
• Provides guest service according to company standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Point Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Ability to follow all guidelines for the safe serving of food and drinks while complying with all aspects of the Ohio Health Code and Cedar Point food standards.
• Monitor that all safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience at a Supervisory level or higher.
• Ability to lead a team of cooks in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to lift at least 40lbs.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
