Food Service Associate(Part-Time/Day) - Einstein Montgomery County

The Food & Nutrition Service Aide is responsible for working designated cafeteria and tray-line positions, cleaning and sanitizing dishes, trays utensils and equipment. The Nutrition Service Aide is responsible for accurate tray delivery to patients and collection of used trays. The Nutrition Service aide is responsible for cleaning work areas and or other duties assigned by the Supervisor. The food and Nutrition Service aide assists in striving for the highest customer satisfaction levels by achieving department goals to meet the Hospital Mission

The Food & nutrition Service Aide has to be able to:

• Demonstrate proper manners in dealing with all our customers.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots pans and equipment used in food preparation, following established policy and procedures.
• Set up and clean assigned tray-line position.
• Work assigned tray-line position following established procedures for each position, assembling accurate & high quality trays.
• Stock supplies such as dishes silverware etc. in designated areas.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining work areas, leaving each area clean and neat during and at the end of the shift.
• Properly handle and utilize cleaning materials.
• Comply with established p.p.e. requirements while performing duties.
• Check with supervisor for additional duties prior to signing out.
• Complete required training and education, including department specific requirements.
• Through the course of their duties may have access to the Medication Room for delivery or pickup of supplies or equipment

Qualifications

Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
AND
Experience:
6 months to 1 year of experience

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
