Schedule: Full-time 36 hours. Tuesday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Wednesday 6:30 am - 12:00 pm, Thursday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm, Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Every other weekend 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Please note public transportation does not service the hospital on Sundays so alternate transportation is required for Sunday shifts.

The Food Service Worker performs a variety of functions related to the safe assembly, distribution, and service of food for Hospital patients, visitors, and staff.

Position includes:

• Assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient meal trays
• Working in the dish room
• Cleaning floors and equipment
• Restocking workstations
• Light food preparation

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read English to follow recipes, read menus/meal tickets, and job flows.
• Ability to speak proficient English.
• Great customer service skills required.
• Must be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to push catering carts, carry/move items up to 25 lbs, bend, lift, and reach
• Ability to stand in a stationary position and/or walk quickly for long periods
• Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards
