Forensic Psychiatric Nurse

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited RN nursing program OR Graduate of accredited LPN nursing program required.
• Current license as an RN in Commonwealth of PA OR Current license as LPN in Commonwealth of PA required.
• Must be able to work with adults with mental disorders.
• One (1) year work experience with mental/behavioral health, forensic, sexual offending behaviors or residential services required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system.
• Valid PA Driver's License required.
• All Clearances required by OMHSAS regulations.

We are seeking a Forensic Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) OR a Forensic Psychiatric Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at our program in Russellton, PA.

Earn $41.17/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option for Registered Nurse or

Earn $29.05/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.

Position Details

As a member of the nursing team, the RN or LPN will enrich lives through maintaining continuity of care by providing direct interaction with program residents and collaboration with the EAC team. Provide quality, recovery focused, and holistic care to the individuals in the program. Ensures the physical health needs of those in the program are met, including assessing, and evaluating health concerns, physical health assessments, charting, dispensing medication, and providing health education. The RN/LPN works closely with the program Psychiatrist.
