Forklift Driver

Job Summary:

The Forklift Driver is responsible for operating forklifts such as Reach, Dock Stocker, or Sit-down forklifts to safely move, store, and organize warehouse materials. 

This role requires prior forklift certification, experience with RF scanners, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a warehouse environment. 

The Forklift Driver must also follow established procedures, meet timelines, and work collaboratively with team members.




Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts (Reach, Dock Stocker, or Sit-down) to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Utilize RF scanners to track and organize inventory.
• Follow all safety guidelines while performing tasks such as lifting, walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
• Safely lift items up to 50 lbs, with team lifts required for heavier items.
• Complete all work assignments as instructed, meeting established timelines.
• Participate as a team player, collaborating with co-workers to meet operational goals.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned, including multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification for Reach, Dock Stocker, or Sit-down forklifts.
• Experience with RF scanners.
• Minimum of two years of warehouse experience, with at least one year of stand-up (Reach or Dock Stocker) forklift experience.
• Excellent math, reading comprehension, and legible writing skills.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks within set timelines.
• Physically able to perform tasks requiring walking, standing, bending, reaching, and safely lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a warehouse environment with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Certifications:

• Forklift certification is required prior to starting this role.
