Volt is immediately hiring Production Workers in Fort Worth, TX.

As a Forklift Operator you will:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring that items are handled safely and securely.
• Move raw materials and finished products to designated areas
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the yard and production teams to support workflow and meet production and shipping deadlines.
• Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment daily to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Complete necessary documentation related to material handling and inventory control

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

The ideal Forklift Operator candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a forklift driver in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to forklift operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for inventory management.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Pay Rate: $16.00 hour

1st Shift: Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm
