Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Forklift Operator position with an Erie, PA based company. This is a 2nd shift position with a pay rate of $19.25/hr-$23.25/hr.

Forklift Operator

Shift: 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $19.25/hr-$23.25/hr

Screening Process: Face to Face interview. Must pass a drug screen and be open to a criminal background check.

Must have steel toed boots. Must have a current PA driver's license, GED or diploma.

Duties

Overview-Follow procedures, assist the warehouse department leader and staff with the daily operational processes, systems, and customer/supplier relationships concerning all general warehouse material handling needs. This will include but will not be limited to, maintaining effective communications with the jitney operators, warehouse sales staff, and other warehouse staff and assistants, promoting a harmonious work environment, and following standards, procedures, and company policies

• Obtains materials from various storage areas and assures orders are filled to specifications.
• Completes all paperwork, properly marks material for internal and external customers, and packages material to assure quality to final destination.
• Assures incoming material for stock and customers is unloaded, inspected, and identified.
• Loads materials for shipment onto trucks in such a way as to ensure material integrity.
• Performs inventory checks for salesmen, branches and inventory control when required.
• Assists truck drivers with loading, unloading, tarps, and chains as required.
• Assists other warehouse personnel with Cash Sales orders.
• Assists in the development of quality procedures; consult with management to make recommendations for implementation of techniques to improve effectiveness of policies or processes as required.
• Able to lift a Maximum weight of 49 lbs
• Safe operation of material bander, and scale.
